AERIAL TRAMWAY
Skiers & Boarders wishing to reach the ski area from the western slope of the Sandias' (city side) may do so by riding the Sandia Peak Aerial Tramway. Skiers & Boarders must have equipment with them to acess the area via the Tramway. Skiers & Boarders are offered reduced Tramway fares when purchasing any daily lift ticket. Novice skiers should opt to drive around to the base area on the east side of the mountain where the beginner area is located.

RENTALS
Sandia Peak offers a complete rental and repair shop. Rental shop is conveniently located at the base of the ski area. Featuring skis, boots and poles, plus snowboards and boots for all ages and abilities. NOTE: No rental equipment is available at the Tramway. Either rent in town or drive to ski base.

Snow Sports School
Our PSIA certified ski school staff of instructors offers private and full or half day group lessons for skiers or snowboarders, never ever through advanced. Lessons begin at 10 am and 1 pm daily. Tickets may be purchased at the ski school ticket window.

CUBBY CORNER
Ski School for 4 to 6 years of age. This separate teaching area offers children their own surface lift, warming hut, and restrooms. During special events youngsters are greeted by Cubby the Ski Bear.
